Percival Stern Hall needs renovation. The structure has become
an eyesore for many at Tulane University. Renovation requirements permit the facade to only extend two feet towards the street while preserving the original windows. This project utilizes volumetric lofting to redesign the facade in accordance with these parameters.
Through the use of SubD in Rhino, an undulating
façade provides the building with and updated look. For
easy fabrication, the panels are modular and can be replicated with a pre-cast mold. Once they reach the
site, these sections are easily adhered to the existing facade.
